Letterbox distribution in Australia is priced per 1,000 households, not per campaign. That matters, because the honest answer to “what does it cost” is a rate, and your total depends on how many homes you want to reach.
Your rate moves with four things. This page explains each of them, so you can judge a quote properly whether it comes from us or from someone else.
Send us your quantity and areas and we will come back with a firm number within 6 hours.
Volume is the biggest lever. Every run carries fixed costs, including planning the walk, sorting, briefing and supervising walkers, and quality checks. Those costs are spread across the drop. A small run carries similar overhead to a large one, so the smaller job pays more per thousand.
We quote in four bands, which is why our quote form asks you to pick one:
Dense inner-city suburbs cost less per thousand than spread-out regional areas, because a walker covers more letterboxes per hour. Apartment blocks, gated estates and rural routes all change the maths.
We distribute across every state and territory. Regional and remote runs carry a loading to cover travel and lower letterbox density.
Most clients bundle printing with distribution because it removes a handover and usually costs less than sourcing print separately. Price depends on size, paper stock and whether you print single or double sided.
If you already have flyers printed, we will distribute them at no extra handling charge. Just get them to our Campbellfield warehouse before your booked date.
A blanket drop across a postcode is the cheapest way to buy reach. Narrowing to specific suburbs, streets or delivery walks costs more per thousand but wastes less. If your customers cluster in a handful of areas, the tighter drop is usually cheaper per lead even though it is dearer per thousand.
Tell us the areas you care about and we will map the walks before you commit, so you can see exactly which streets are covered.
We run shared distributions. Your flyer goes into the letterbox alongside material from a small number of other businesses on the same walk.
That is what keeps the rate down, and it is how the large majority of letterbox advertising in Australia is delivered.
Worth checking against any quote you compare us with, because these are not universal:
The fair comparison is cost per household actually reached, not cost per impression served. A letterbox drop puts a physical item in the hand of someone who lives in your delivery radius. A digital impression may be a fraction of a second of screen time from someone three states away.
Letterbox distribution also reaches households that are hard to buy digitally: older demographics, people running ad blockers, and anyone who simply is not searching for you yet.
Tell us your quantity, the areas you want covered and whether you need printing. We will come back with a firm quote within 6 hours.

Per 1,000 households delivered. Your total is that rate multiplied by the number of homes you reach, adjusted for area, targeting and whether you need printing.
